Chuck originally certified as a personal trainer with the International Sport Sciences Association (ISSA). Several years later (2005), he certified with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) with which he also holds specialty certifications in Corrective Exercise, Performance Enhancement and Weight Loss. Chuck also maintains active certifications with PTA Global (Bridged and Advance); Innovative Body Solutions (Ki-Hara Level V -Master Trainer). He has practiced Ki-Hara Resistance Stretching since 2007. He founded Fit Avenue NY in 2008.

In addition to conducting private functional training, corrective exercise training and one-on-one resistance stretching sessions, he is the Ki-Hara Resistance Stretching Consultant for the Columbia University Fencing Program.


Finally,  Chuck is a Ki-Hara Level I Certification Workshop Instructor, teaches Ki-Hara Self-Stretching Workshops and leads the NYC Ki-Hara Internship Program.
